It seems a bit odd that the other guy is being thrown around in the car so much. Even if the driving's rough, I wouldn't think that it would affect someone in an enhancing suit that much. I guess he's comic relief for the entire mission.

I think it is about experience/skill, like you can stand still on bus without holding anything if you skilled enough. But if you dont you probably thrown around.

And beside he is still unexperience and probably see the mc then became a bit less hothead

Remember that Akira is also getting his body optimized by her, and she's still able to control the suit let alone sync with it, so combine that with all his training and he can stand it because of that; it actually looks less impressive in-world because it's assumed he's driving it remotely, so is directly synced with it, rather than the AI driving while synced to his suit and him being skilled from being harshly trained. Other guy is getting thrown around all over because he is focusing on not being thrown out of the car primarily, especially given the distance and erratic movements; it's basically like being in an earthquake. When there was a lull in motion he was able to stand quickly enough and assist with the rocket launching.

Only a few species of spiders were observed to act like that. It's commonly in reverse, the mother is known to snack on her spawn. It makes sense from a survival aspect - adults already capable of reproduction are more viable than adolescents.
