I think its hiding from him because it's trying to have Katsuya improve and grow without direct influence and somehow mentally manipulate him into the agent it wants. The story for a while gave this sense that the two ai's are trying to get this perfect agent/merc for some goal and akira's and katsuya's are experimenting with different approaches.

What's with the romaji title, lol?

If you go into settings (on the main site, not the forum) and click display, there's a section about 'Title Order'. With how it's currently set up, you have to set 'Japanese - Main Title' to 'User Locale' or 'English'. Note this will affect every series.

As far as I can tell, you can't set it to prefer Romaji but use English if the title is English loan words (katakana).
I think the old system just had a 'primary title' it would display, which is why this series correctly showed English title previously.

EDIT: Staff on Discord mentioned they're working on fixing it, so hopefully things will return to normal without having to change settings.

its kind of the end. at least the part with Katsuya is. now that Akira x Yumina is official, there is still one more important plot point where Akira x Alpha are being tested. then we will move to the new arc, new character, new "dungeon".

well, the route are indeed different but that the "plot" are still in the same track. hell, it is more of sad ending than simply satisfying ending.

No, you got it all wrong. The fate of the pickpocket changed in the LIGHT NOVEL, from the WEB NOVEL, and the manga is reflecting the changes of the Light Novels. In the Web Novels, Yumina and Airi survive after Katsuya's death, but the Light Novels kill all three.
