pretty sure it's not DMCAs but rather mangadex nuking translation groups recently, causing anything they've uploaded to be deleted, which is wild since they let crazy rule breaking groups exist forever

Read up through volume 5 of the official English LN.

• As I noted before: It's a complicated plot with many independent actors ping ponging after each other.
• There's a lot of manipulation. Especially by females (and AI pseudo-females).
• Akira is a pawn of Alpha; Katsuya is a pawn of Beta. Both are being massively manipulated. Neither of them have any idea that they are being manipulated. ... One could argue that they're too young to figure it out, so there's a certain amount of realism in it. Or...
• Maybe the author just likes having manipulatory women in charge with the males being clueless pawns. This is a popular trope in Japan. ... If that's the case... not my cup of tea. So, I'm wary at this point.
• Shouta flag. MC is 13 year old male, not physically imposing, herbivore (but teasable). And he's got several older women doting on him. ... Strong shouta flag.

Regarding the Manga

• Art is sharp and strong, but that's largely due to using 3d models.
• Facial expressions are very limited. Total uncanny valley.
• WTF is everyone smiling 3/4 of the time?
• Manga is going to be best on action. But the LN has tons of subtle hints about what's going, plus tons of hidden motives, manipulations, misunderstandings and coincidences. Hard for a manga to render that.
• Story also has minor characters recurring later, and for plot relevant reasons. Pretty much need to take notes to keep track of who is who.

So, in some ways it's pretty cool -- it's a very game like world. But... there are some substantial warnings to the story and limitations in the manga.
