A powerful A.I disconnected the connection between Alpha and Akira then tried to hire him, but he refuses. It even told Akira that Alpha is only using him like a puppet, but Akira argued that he would've died like a rat in the slum if it weren't for Alpha's help training him to reach his current state.

This whole thing feels like a plot device. i dont hate what happened and the result but it started with alpha weakening calculation(?). I think my main problem is the flow. The sequence was too compact but at the same time, the 2 bounties battles felt too long too... whatever.

All fictional stories are built with plot devices, if you want to actually see these plot devices in how the author intends it to be then you should try reading its novel.
