hes alive probably because the plot needs him to be, hes a constant source of conflict with Akira (so far) and I assume hes going to have more importance in the story as time goes on from the weird effect he had on Sheryl in the previous chapter

the story seems toset him as the rival, he has the mc vibes, it's like we are seeing the story from the morally grey (tending to evil) type of rival POV, but the "real" mc of the story is this guy

I bet the other AI that was dangerous and this other guy met is some kind of harem AI that is causing girls to fall for his dopy attitude that oozes ignorance of the reality of their world and it's probably going to lead to problems down the road as akira and his girls keep getting sidewinded by this rival and AI's manipulations of women

nah, he didn't pick any new girls after he picked the IA right? pretty sure that noble girl was with him before

Is this Sheryl getting the urge to assert her dominance? Huehue. And I'm liking her interaction with Akira. Yes, she does feel indebted and all to him. But the way she tries to support him as much as she can, is really admirable.

I'm thinking the whole Akira smiling while talking to the other girl was in her head probably from the "main hero" type guy having the unconscious ability to pull people to himself as an unintentional way of forcing her to want to leave Akira. Also the girl not telling Katsuya the truth so he learns to listen and correct himself will cause problems in the future but hopefully she learns that when he gets killed

It gives the impression that Akira is wasteful with money despite willing to murder a pickpocket. With how apathetic Akira is with this, and how much of a short fuse that other guy has, it will at minimum cause a scene that will be a problem for the clothing store, and could have long term fueds even after that.

Hey LN/WN-Reader can you spoil me about the difference between the original and the adaptation

My memory is not great and it has been a long time since I've read it so correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I remember: Akira chases down the pickpocket girl who is apparently now kidnapped in a mafia family and he battles them all AND Katsuya who came by just so he can kill that girl. Honestly, I like this version more of having Yumina play a bigger role than just being one of Katsuya's mindless drones

As I recall, this follows the ln right? I've read the wn and it's a lot different there. Anybody has any idea about the status of the Ln? How many volumes, how far away, translations etc.

The English LN (vol 3 part one - part 4) are now in chapter 44-45 of this manga (where Akira share loot in the weapon store).
I would imagine the LN would catch up in the one or two week from now.

the different of the manga and the WN are a lot. but the different between the manga and the LN are pretty much not exists so far, so I would say yes it is follow the LN.

as for the JP LN the latest that I know is Vol 7, released January 2023.
