This surprisingly caught my attention. I'm not really into the post apocalyptic genre in general, but this was nicely executed. Edgy with out too much drama, and a spec of borderline ecchi, no forced fan service.

I just discovered this manga and cought up in a couple hours.

@Velsy same here, I don't mind her being some kind of vilain but I just don't want it to finish like

'' Oh I'm the final boss, I was never honest! Now let me destroy the world with the weapon you gave me''
''Oh no, I can't let her do that! "
*MC kills her*
" You stopped me, I'm proud of you, I was not truly evil blablabla"
*MC cries*
"NOOOOO"

It would just destroy the good image I got of the manga

Don't really care about Alpha plot line but seeing dood leveling is chill.

While it's an interesting sci-fi concept and initial story, the next few chapters will be the ones who will tell if this will be a good or a bad one. In term of manga quality (especially in the story), this one has come to its first real "high wall" to cross which is the transition from the introduction to the actual story and it took an even harder road by adding a new character that is totally "out of the style and story". If the new girl is just added for some loli fan-service the manga could crumble fast, but if she does put her weight in the story and, even more, evolve with the MC, this could be a really good story. (Especially with the introduction of the "next rank hunters". If the girl evolve in a similar direction as an hunter, this could be a good "Hansel & Gretel" style combo.)

It's really funny that after so little focus Sheryl is already way more interesting than MC. I really hope she won't become a background character after her arc.

@donoghu How is Sheryl loli? She's more Akira's age or older and hes most certainly not a shota, both are seemingly teenagers at the least.

I really enjoy this manga. I haven't read any good sci-fi manga since Akira and I personally enjoy characters such as Alpha (who differs slightly from the atypical sexy big titty anime chick) and the air of mystery around her. I see a lot of potential for this series and I like how it doesn't fall into a cringe-worthy trope hell that so many series have been tossed into.
