This is not a yuri manga, that's the problem when you let a dumbass mess with the tags. I can't change it so let's hope some other smartass can change it for the greater good.

@LysandersTreason That doesn't justify the tag. That tag is exclusively for yuri manga, manga where yuri is a main theme, this is not some doujin where you have tags to describe the kinks of the sex scenes. "Oh there's a sex scene between 2 women so it must be yuri". That's not how this shit works, when most people search for the yuri tag they are not just seeking a manga with some lesbian scenes, they want a story that revolves around a romance between girls.

@LysandersTreason Yuri is a genre. Just because there are lesbian scenes in this manga does not mean it is a yuri manga as weird as that sounds. @Ryuran is right in that you don't attach genres to manga the same way you do for doujinshi where you just tag things if they appear. If Komi-san had a chapter with futuristic stuff in it you wouldn't suddenly slap on the sci-fi tag, would you? Because sci-fi is a genre and it's obvious what people who tag search it are looking for, just like how yuri is a genre and people that tag search it are looking for, well, yuri manga.

Wasted opportunities. Nice drawing, well thought-out background plot with horrible storytelling, structure and development.
With a demanding editor this could have been a good manga, that doesn't have to get axed.

Mystery is good, but tens of chapters without development, only hentai, and then in only a few chapters the resolution...
...5,6 out of 10 rating seems about right. 8 for the art, 3 for the story

@buttler Aww, I'm actually sad that this is the general consensus on this manga... despite everything, I really liked it! T_T

I'm currently following 18 manga, and this one has got the lowest score of all. Even GIGANT, a super-dull and boring manga where 90% of the panels are a stock photo with a character pasted on it, has got a rating of 5.79 (I keep telling myself it will eventually get better, but it just never happens...). And I think this is sad, because... this manga isn't all that bad after all. It made me care about the characters, it tried hard to make the lewd scenes meaningful to the plot, the mystery was honestly interesting... and I had so much fun reading it here along with everyone else (even though I'm commenting only now).

Plus, one of the manga I'm following is Detective Conan: that one has got more than 1,000 chapters, it started 24 years ago... and we still know nothing about the bad guys or the other mysteries or questions that have been raised throughout the years. 90% of it is pure filler... now that's frustrating. On the other hand, this manga never gave me this feeling: I always felt like every chapter had a purpose, even when the characters didn't do anything but having fun in bed. And now that it's almost over... I'm really sad. x_x

@Labba I found the mystery interesting, the art really good, and now I'm disappointed, that it had to be axed, and the story had to end so abruptly, with only a few resolution-chapters.
I mean, we only got an introduction of her world, the story could have developed from here.

This manga had potential, and it has been wasted.
It was not one of the standard ecchi manga settings from Toshiki Yui and I hoped to see even more development from him. I'm still going to follow his new projects.

There are still lots of things, especially in the beginning, that don't have a proper explanation with the coma/purgatory story, like as if the author didn't have a proper idea for the plot and just threw
random mysterious things one after another. Then the story became gradually more cohesive, and globally I can say I'm satisfied (unless the last chapter turns out an epic fail).

Manga is fine, author definitely should try his hand with porn, forget the plot and go for the ecchi and this would be a 10/10 porn.

Edit: Turns out he did/does already so he should stick with his doujin instead of this.

The ending was actually better than I expected. A bit rushed and confusing, sure, but I was prepared for it to be completely stupid. The series definitely had problems, and was pretty frustrating to read at times, but all in all it wasn't too bad.

interestingly enough this actually pulled off a "Lost" (american tv show) kind of feel to it. And it actually makes sense that sexual desires manifested in a dream state since sex is inherently primal and is a part of the id ("reptilian" primitive part of the brain) as well as fear and need for security.

Although I gotta say I read this for her bobs at first.

@mossmochi Oh shit, you are right! I must have confused him with another mangaka, Yui Toshiki is certainly a name I've seen before...
