Hero union BBS is fun...

also half & Half that somebody mentioned is memorable as well...

I would recommend Yokohama Kaidashi kikou and Dragon Half both are fun bit on the older side... I remember reading YKK after seeing its ova adaptation... I might be remembering wrong but it was as if the whole YKK was just a world building - author just flexing what amazing things he can draw.... Dragon Half is from similar vein as Slayers - wacky fantasy/comedy with added ecchi.

And I remember enjoying Until Death do us Part and The Breaker (with the sequel), but I read the last two quite a long time ago, so it probably wasn't as good as I remember it being.

Oh, also Mx0 and Shamo

@schlo Can't say objectively, but I really liked the art and it got super nice soundtrack...
virtually any track from ST could be in one of those "relaxing music for work/studying"

Aria - wonderfully pleasant Cute Girls Doing Cute Things, gorgeous artwork, complete in Japanese, some volumes licenced in English before they were cancelled, multiple anime series

https://mangadex.org/title/2007/aria

Ikoku Nikki - Girl growing up story, very "real" with non-cookie-cutter characters, ongoing

https://mangadex.org/title/35217/ikoku-nikki

Heterogeneous Linguistics - a very odd yet charming story about linguistics, communication and alien species. It's ongoing, licenced in English

https://mangadex.org/title/26079/heterogeneous-linguistics

Anything by Ashinano Hitoshi, basically -- that includes the award-winning Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou as mentioned above but there are other series he did like Kabu no Isaki and Kotonoba Drive (all complete).

Hana no Namae
Chouko has lost her will to live after bouncing from family to family after the death of her parents, but finds solace in the garden of the kurt and solitary Kei, her father's younger cousin and and an established author.

I Love Her
The boyish Hana has just broken up with her first boyfriend before moving to a new city with her mother following her parent's divorce. Her first day she comes to usher an ailing man to the hospital, who she comes to find out is her neighbor, and later her homeroom teacher. Despite not wishing to for various reasons, she can't help but begin to fall for him.

Kanojo ni Naru Hi
In a world where the sudden transformation of children to the opposite gender is a well documented phenomena, the gynophobic Miyoshi is forced to confront his fear of women when his childhood friend and rival, Mamiya, returns from several weeks of hospitalization, having undergone the metamorphosis at an unusually older age. It's not porn in case you're worried, not even ecchi iirc.

Liar x Liar
20 y/o Minato regrets trying out her friends old schoolgirl uniform after bumping into her two-months- younger philanderer step-brother, Tooru. After managing to convince him that she simply just looks like his sister, Tooru is surprisingly adamant about dating her, to which Minato begrudgingly agrees, hoping to use the relationship as a pretense to change her brother's bad relationship with women.

Mirror Girl
Ji-Suk and So-Hee's relationship has fallen through after his return from his two years of military service, but as he tries to reconcile, he finds that she has a doppleganger who's blood fades to mist. Concerned that the double would harm So-Hee should they ever meet, her takes her away to determine her true intentions, later discovering that he too has a double, one much more per-occupied with taking his place.

Ohayou, Ibarahime
Satoshi works hard to support his family, and just recently got a job as a housekeeper to a mansion. Waking up from an accidental nap, he meets Shizu, the mysterious daughter of the wealthy family, who most other housekeepers have only ever heard about. Having achieved a strange affinity, he is entrusted with maintaining the outbuilding she lives in apart from the main house, but there is more behind the mystery of Shizu's circumstances than he would have ever imagined.

Sekine-kun no Koi
Jack-of-all-trades Sekine Keiichiro is loved by women for his looks and intelligence, but quickly loose interest as they find out his personalty is unwaveringly bland and stoic. Searching for something to make him feel, he comes across a crafts shop run by a magician, who teaches him tricks for a nominal fee, and his granddaughter, who Sekine develops feelings for. Sexual violence warning, its not pervasive throughout the story, but there are a few uncomfortable flashbacks of Sekine's past, thought the story is very good and I urge you to read it if you aren't too troubled by that sort of thing. It also has the smut tag, but that might just be due to the final chapter from what I remember.

The Voynich Hotel
The interwoven stories of a former Yakuza on the run, several hitmen, a serial killer on the prowl, drug dealers, orphan detectives, and a centuries year old witch-turned-maid and her demure frankenstein companion, among others, all centered around the Voynich Hotel and the surrounding areas. A mix of comedy, action, horror, mystery and romance, there's something for everybody.

I'm a Villainous Daughter, so I'm going to keep the Last Boss
Upon being told by Prince Cedric that their engagement was to be annulled, noble daughter Aileen realizes that she was reborn into this world from her past life, a sickly, hospital-ridden girl, and that the current world was formerly her favorite otome game; However, she is not the main character, but the villainess, and is currently on track to die in all manner of ignominious fashions. Armed with the memories of her past life, she decides to align herself with the secret romance option and final boss, the Demon Prince Claude, and attempts to avoid or circumvent the pitfalls that lay before her.
