Recommendations for series with status reversal

Not really sure how to describe what I'm looking for in the thread title. Basically, I'm looking for stories where two people (preferably a guy and girl who have, once had, or show potential to develop a relationship) have very disparate status, wealth or power, which has an impact on their relationship, and where somewhere later on their relative status is reversed. This could mean the wealthy/famous/powerful one becomes poor/loathed/weak while the poor/etc. one becomes rich/etc., or that one moves so far in the other direction that the relative dynamics are still reversed (like, for instance, a relationship a millionaire and a person barely in middle class, in which the millionaire loses everything and becomes basically homeless, or one between someone with a high rank in a company and a low-rank grunt who later rises up to CEO).

I don't know if there's a manga of it, but I know I saw something with a description fitting this on Novelupdates, where a guy used to travel with an elf comrade who treated him like trash constantly, only after they split for a while he saw her at a slave market and bought her (to save her ostensibly). Oddly the description says she's actually happier as a slave.

Hentai is fine, but while I'm fine with stuff under the "dominance reversal" trope, it has to be something where said reversed dominance is due to things like status, not something like a subordinate using blackmail to make their superior submit.

How prominent is this 'status reversal' you're looking for?
Because most of the time, that trope is just used as a punchline, just a 'how the tables have turned' kind of thing.
Especially in Shonen fantasy genre
