For those who dont remember, the blonde is one of his colleagues for the police. She was the one who carried the massive backpack around when they were still in the Bamboo institute. She is smart too.

What I think is happening is she is either undercover, explaining her ditsy-ness or she is working behind the polices back. Either way, its going to create a conflict of interest with the MC because the police allow him to deal with mystic gardens under the law while his uncle's sponsor gives him the ability to cultivate the body of tumultuous gold.
