That phrase is universal mate, it's just "angsty white kids" are the most portrayed. Usually it's a female character in manga running away because of mom, male ones usually run away because of dad (when he actual exists in manga lol).
Exceptions are when the mom is acting a liiiiiiittle too intimate with son and he uses evasive or female is a liiiiiiiiiiittle too attached to dad and he brings a new girlfriend/wife home.

Interesting explantion, I guess angsty white kids could be due to being raised in America where white kids are often portrayed as being the ones who are bold enough to show such disdain for their parents.

Trust me, as an American myself and one who didn't bother with borders when making friends, I can tell you they are far from the only ones it's just they are the ones mostly portrayed as such.
Black kids (mostly males) to a degree fear their parents. Usually cause punishments they receive are usually worst than the thing they did wrong (towards the males). Sometimes even getting punished for being right....(if you're male)
Hispanic kids I found are really close but will (respectfully) argue with the parents with ease.
Asian kids......well, I feel bad for them....there's a reason "Emotional Damage" became a meme.
White kids I found are the most free around their parents but get the most extreme punishments when they cross that line.

So my thoughts up until this point⸻
This was a great chapter to end it in for a while. The mother saying "I will support you" literally made my day. I really hope they recover their relation. But I'm glad the mother fixed herself. It's too bad Inuta will not end up with a stepfather and a stepmother.
Once again, this is a great chapter. Repaired relations and the mother's redemption, all of it was done well.

Final rating after many ups and downs - 8/10


Also live-action WHAT. WHAT? How will they even do all the smut scenes? Is it a JAV live-action? I have to look into this more.

P.S. there are 42 chapters, this is a weekly manga now Mr. scanlator. Don't blue ball the readers please. I'm probably going to read ahead anyways but it would be nice if we could catch up
