On page 11, am I looking at things wrong or is Ajim OBVIOUSLY getting hit by the jab?
Or I guess maybe that's a kind of fake out for the reader as well.

No he definetly got hit just wasn't strong enough to stun him or anything

Yeah I was confused cause it the next panel it shows Tokiwa (I think his name was?) dodging Ajim's strike, but the speech bubble's talking about how Ajim has "narrowly dodged" it.

This is MTL and whatever he used can't see the pages nor the context.
To it, it's 時和ジャブ! (Tokiwa did a jab!) then 紙一重で躱す!(He dodged by a hair's breath). The MTL assumed that Azim dodged.

While if you have eyes and look at the page, it'd be: Tokiwa did a jab -> *first commentary -> it hit -> Azim tried to counter -> Tokiwa dodged -> *Second commentary.

Ah, yeah figured something like that may be at play.
But damn, you'd think that gets caught just by proofreading, though nobody's perfect I guess.

"Nobody's perfect" is a pretty generous justification for not even checking to see if your translation is referring to the right characters while proofreading

I honestly don’t know what’s worse. The quality of the translation or the fact that I’ve seen much worse from the Shark comic’s translation
