I like that this time-skip was basically a way to switch up Aoba's dynamic (he can't be a pro fighter at like 17 or else he's a genius like Kenshin) and I'm really glad the author didn't just make him a bit bigger and buffer, but show that he's both matured and grown but is also still the same vengeful, petty, and vicious bastard.

This time skip wasnt perfect, but holy shit it's so much better and makes so much more sense than ones in other manga both narratively and logistically.

AGREED! ive never been so happy to be wrong about a time skip before. It’s satisfying seeing it not be used as a get outta jail free card or forced power up

Ngl, never thought a youTuber parody character would piss me off this much in just one chapter. Bro joining in was fine, but did he have to also steal Aoba’s points too?😂Of course Aoba’s mad

Author definitely fan of pride & ufc lol.
I'm gonna say it, this manga needs a cute girl love interest like All-Rounder Meguru
As long as it’s not their only personality. Maki from Meguru and, Nao from Martial Master Asumi are more than just love interests.

With that said introduce an Olympic wrestling hopeful because it’s kind of fitting considering Japan’s women’s team is pretty dominant in wrestling at the Olympics.
