Ya that fight was something else... it just refused to die. Used my own gimmick against me and everything. In the end I wasn't even the one to beat it. laugh of exhaustion
Not a coincidence, the girl was "saved" by that Hero in a flashback, he then puts the interesting times curse on her and the loudest guy in the bar, so that they will get themselves killed later. The flashback makes it clear she named the little dragon hero after the human Hero she admired.
Neat, I think I remember the light novel jumping straight from evolution to the final confrontation so it was kind of obscured what his actual choice? Certainly a different choice from this.
While pages 2 and 3 are not* a spread, I thought they would look cool joined, so here there are: (* = I had to crop a lot of empty white space to make them look like a spread.)
Joined spread of pages 6-7:
They alignment is off by 1 pixel, so two 1351 x 1920 images produced a 2702 x 1921 pixel joined image.
The joined image was over 3mb, and image host sites unfortunately hate such file sizes, so they give back a lossy .jpg, even if you upload a lossless PNG (even without transparency)...
I copied the top and bottom rows of pixels of the respective pages to make the fill less awkward, but the image was still too big (2.52mb), and imgur provided a lossy .jpg again.
I did try to join the spread of pages 8 and 9, but they are weirdly misaligned again... Are the pages upscaled?? Joining before upscaling would be a solution.

Interesting idea that the heads are fully independent of one another, doesn't seem like they can communicate either, perhaps the bunny ball works as an in-between?
So, the first thing I thought of; since our boy is in control of everything except for head #2, does that mean head #2 is basically "paralyzed" from the neck down? Or will the second head eventually gain the ability to use part of or the entire body? Questions upon questions, bah!
Both of those things are correct :3
They are effectively being "overpowered" in the struggle over who runs the body by MC.
So while is running the show, they can´t move the rest of the body.
But they can control the body if MC lets them, or if MC were to go unconscious or lose control.
Eventually, they do start working together, and his other half does get to "take the wheel" every now and then.
But the fact it works like that might also suggest MC could have take over his other half if he were mentally strong enough.
It might lead to a unique evolution if he were to dominate the whole body.
But it's not something that happens.
So what happens with the second head's personality on the next transformation? If the next one is a one headed dragon, where would the new personality go?
Later in the story, "That slime" came back and had a fight to the death.
Illusia came out victory. But the slime, at his death door, forced an evolution and became Legendary rank.
This forced evolution made it very powerful but come with "God of Destruction" status which is self destructed (reduced HP/MP rapidly) and kind of berserk state.
Illusia was in near death situation. So partner decided to use "accompany" skill to "forced detach" her head from the body (ref. Manga chapter 6) to attack and slow the slime down until its HP hit zero. Left Ilusia, Ouroboros the twin heads dragon, only one head left and heavily injured.
He got several options, including "Sins" the seven heads dragon who govern over 7 deadly sins. He wondered if his partner might be back with this evolution. But dismiss it because he understood that his partner was already dead.
After partner sacrificed herself, she woke up in a strange place, hell maybe? After wandering hell for a bit, she stumbled upon "Laplace", another god-like entity(?) in this world. Who know what fate holds for her, because the Novel is not ended yet 😭😭
