I guess if you are a mage and you put your staff, in this case the apple, on the ground it would be the same as hoping to get killed, I don't agree with it but is the only way I see it as a failure

There is a very fun gimmick/premise here, but the writing seems kind of scatterbrained. Not sure if that is because this was a shorter ad series, or if the source is like this too.

Also, it is pretty obvious the one guy is being overly negative on her judging to ensure failure. Likely cause he doesn't want to see her hurt or some such...

I kind of wish the plot focused more on MC and the ghostly gal trying to make her tangible - that seems more interesting.

Published 8 was called "Until we meet again (part 1)"
And 9th published was called "Until we meet again (part 2)"
And dex upload says to do parts as .1,.2 etc so done it that way
Meaning 9 became 8.2 and 10 -> 9

First time doing this so was that wrong?
