@GweAnakJakarta because they seem to be absolutely crazy and psycho (because that isnt even edgy anymore). Me and others explained several times why that would be a bad idea and it didnt help. I have given up on them at this point and just hope they never get power.

Thanks for the chapter, but can anyone tell me what happened to the naniscans group website?
From there I followed the outputs of your manga but for a few days I have not been able to access it. :(

@Ringz thanks for telling in advance, now I shall postpone my reading.
Anyway, the first few pages was a tense way to inform them of introducing a son

Hating the Royal Family is getting a bit mobby, looking carefully, seems like the royal family has no idea about the curse, the kid was just trying to be caring to the MC when he ran towards them, the Prince has no idea what the hell is happening either, after seeing this hopefully the guy will actually question the MC's family about this stuff and beg them for help to release the curse from his family.

I like this chapter. While her reactions are understandable it makes it all the more sad for the boy who just wants to be friends because he cant see the murky shades and the curse. Meanwhile we understand her reaction. Also I dont really dislike the children since theyre u know innocent for the most part but the father is definitely a piece of shit.

Keep the curse going. Why should we expect spirits to have the same morality and ethics as humans? Besides we humans "curse" people for their parents and forebears all the time (be it ethnicity, wealth and culture or whatever, humans are and will forever be tribal. We are nothing more than monkeys fighting for our own tribe) until they are fully assimilated or rooted out. Its human nature to destroy or convert. I can understand the "evil" prince but not like him, he has a goal to get power of the spirits so he can be a better and powerful ruler in a hostile world. The rest of the characters lacks any real motivation besides being "good".

Other than that this manga is way too focused on "rumors", like some kind of almighty weapon. Its starting to get tedious. As always politics in manga is a joke, hard to take it seriously when all the characters behaves like they do. Thinking i should drop this the way things are going.

@sketchy333 Just to clarify, the royalty know the spirits avoid them, the prince-regent taught the prince about it IIRC, but they don't know why. They don't know it's actually a curse.

@Belisar You don't have to apologize, these are things that happen.
Since discord I use it very rarely and follow too many groups I did not know what had happened to you.
I hope you will solve the site problem.
Thanks again. ^^

The whole plot only works by making the characters fucking dumb.

She's a reincarnator yet doesn't have the more cautious demeanor of an adult.

Leaving aside the whole "nuke em" angle, it's not like bad rumours will change anything because the kingdom needs them, they literally have all the cards to stop him from spreading rumors too.

Then she also proceeds to never make use of any of the resources she has like asking the spirits for information about the curse beforehand or her adult knowledge.

@Aeder you have a few misunderstandings which are somewhat important.
1. No other Spirit would tell the MC anything because they know Origin doesnt want that.
2. trust me rumours can be really destructive, especially in such a medieval time. It would mean nearly something like ruin.
Sure they can dispel them and blame the Royals but that would end up in a REALLY bad dead end. Because the Royals would (again) oppose the Spirits, which makes them unable to rule in the worst case and in the best case destabilize their country. Both things which would EVERY other country use to gain influence or even ursurp them under the pretext of removing these bad people. That would mean many dead people, destroyed land and so on. They would just make sure that the territory and fam of the MC are unharmed.
This isnt a good thing for them too, because no other noble would like that, even if they pretend to be their friends/allies. The future of the human side of the family would be very hard and full of problems.

The same is if they would go complete murdering the royals. therefore the decision of the MC isnt dumb like all people here like to call it. It is the smallest evil of all their options.
It is scary how few people are not able to see that. The only fault like I once said is that the MC would most likely try to help these Spirits and/or her parents are to overprotective.
The MC is acting like an adult, but is just lacking information about the curse and its true nature.

People who call this dumb are the ones who are the truly dumb, because they dont see/dont care about the big picture. First you all should start using your brain and think about the things that would happen if they would do what you are saying. Every action will have a reaction and if you cant completely consider that please stay silent.

Egads! Waiting shall be pure torment!

That said, perhaps, the jerk-faced-king will come to learn of his family's sins and repent for them while he son helps Ellen save those captured spirits!

@Dragou that is so sweet is reasonable, however, the author emself fails to address the larger issue of whether magic and spirits exist in these other nations. If they themselves also possess magic and relationship with the spirits, then if Origin & her family so deemed it, they could order a universal ban on spirits to any country who would take advantage of the situation to hurt the people. Ergo, "this is between us, and if you try to exploit the situation, we'll revoke all magic from your society". That would be an even greater death sentence (MAD) such that it could suitably deter aggressions from foreign nations. It's not persued, but it would be a viable option. In other words, it would be medieval siege warfare on the society as whole, or in modern vernacular, "sanctions" that would obliterate the culture, starve the people, etc.

I mean, the dude is married to the frigging goddess who created the world & whose sisters are the literal embodiment of the all seeing eye and judgment. It's played off in jokes, but that's minimal. Given Ori could wipe an enemy nation off the face of the planet, the plot points only have impact for characterization & for protecting the world from a jealous goddess. =P

If a country attacked, a crotchety aunt could easily impose "judgement" on the invading nation. The reason she wouldn't is to minimize the potential fallout. That doesn't mean that if it came down to it such an option couldn't be implemented easily.

@TheDragonLord We dont know about all of that. that is something you could barely critisize, but that is all. Even if that is true, it would only remove war, but none of the other problems.
And even if Origin exert her power and status here. it would bring birth to new long term problems which they need to manage in full. Including taking control of more or less all of Humanity and the moment there is a country/idiot appears which doesnt use spirits or isnt influenced by the church would still think about such a possibility. Even if it isnt openly, problems would be nearly everywhere. Origin and the others cant look everywhere at the same time. They are not omnipresent.

The solution of the MC is still one of the best, until her parents would make clear what the curse is and the whole problems after that. Especially if the MC tries to safe these spirits, because she is such a good person.

@TheDragonLord

No truer word has ever been spoken: The wait will be hellish.
But we wouldn't be reading mangas if we did not have a (fair) bit of masochistic tendencies in us.
