I think we have different definitions of slow, because a week or two for a monthly manga is fucking nothing. I've many series that are months or years behind and nobody takes over them, yet this one gets fought over if it's not insta updated.

Also even if it was: oh no not two whole months, bitch I'm over here waiting two years or more for some stuff to update and it just never does, like the godly assassin manga has been forever now but there's no sniper war fighting over that one.

The thing with Akatsuki is that they got slow and had a backlog, by the time they released chapter 28 raws were at 30 with chapter 31 coming like a week later, serie going on the usual monthly break because of the volume release contributed more to their delay, so they eventually got sniped, at that point Akatsuki was barely updating their manga here too

But yeah, i agree there is better series out there to pick up with no updates for ages (unless they are licensed, so they won't be updated here, but since this sniper is from the other site, he won't take those due to rips), this serie been mostly up to date now, and waiting a few weeks is nothing, better than being behind raws like it was the case before

But obviously this sniper guy that don't even talk here (he do in the other site begging for money because of the shitty fonts he use) just started taking manga that been worked on already, like the dragon hatchling, CCC was working on catching up to it and used full chapters, but this dude came in and just throw some splits, then there is the snipe to asmodeus with the serie they update most regularly here (and chapter 9 raw being published like barely half a day prior) and now this, and like i mentioned in my previous comment here, won't be surprised if he goes to another manga with regular updates because is not being updated day 1, and even less surprised if is a popular one
