Any sympathy i had for the streamer went out of the window the moment they decided that a sealed ceremonial box means they can use a bolt cutter on it. Aside from the paranormal, i greatly dislike people who destroy properties they had no right to. Imagine if it's your great great uncle ashes and some nuisance stream emptied the urn because some idiot said there's a cursed relic inside

Probably. That poor girl in that one flashback frame looked really messed up. The Sengoku Era flashbacks are rarely played for laughs so there's probably a tragic tale there. Maybe that girl was someone he tried to save in the past...
