[Rejected] Banned groups' chapters should be listed like DMCA takedowns and deleted chapters

I noticed after AloneScans was banned that apparently banned groups' chapters, unlike chapters taken down for other reasons (such as DMCA), simply cease to exist in the list, making it more difficult to reach the discussion threads. Could we not have them displayed the same way those others are?

No, since that would still advertise their scummy practices of paywalling content (including raws in this case), which breaks our Terms of Service.

My logic is, if I didn't remember a manga enough to bookmark it, then it wasn't that good to begin with.

Does that mean a banned group is gone forever from the database and that's why they can't be listed without a human manually writing down their name before the ban?

Is there not any way to, say, erase the group's names but keep the forum threads? Or at least to disconnect the threads from the erased chapters? As is I can't even post a comment in any of those threads (it just throws an error because it can't find the chapter associated). Ought to be able to keep and continue the conversations about the chapters themselves even if the translations have been eliminated.

That would likely be a huge headache to set up just for people who are too lazy to just use mangaupdates or myanimelist.

Most (if not all) of the recent ones will have a note of some sort:

There isn't some "banned" marker or anything like that so it's almost impossible to make an accurate list without combing through each group and looking for a mod note or something similar

As you can imagine, it's not a very good use of anyone's time
