Beggin' sire fer summa dem spoilers.
It's been a few years since I read the WN but a few things stick in my memory:

Alicia is undercover pretending to be a gladiator slave at a fighting arena in Laval and she catches the prince of Laval's eye and he buys her. Basically he's some cold northern duke Yandere-type who's always mean and violent but for some reason presented as really charming. He keeps trying to get her to sleep with him and threatening her (and just straight up attacking her) because she's his slave. She also finds out that her grandfather who got exiled is one of the advisors in Laval. Her grandfather finds out who she really is and wants her to marry the prince to unite the two countries. Alicia and the prince go on some quest to something something and when the underground temple is collapsing they have to escape from the bottom of a lake and Alicia with all of her incredible magic and physical prowess just instantly flounders and drowns for no reason so the cold prince has to jump back in and save her and do mouth to mouth. This is all framed like 'omg he really cares' even though he's been a 24/7 asshole to her and threatened to r*pe or kill her multiple times. Then her grandfather grabs her unconscious body and leaves her in the prince's bedroom so that she'll be forced to marry him afterwards. At this point I threw my phone against the wall and stopped reading.
edit: Also this new Prince is even older than Duke, I think like 5 or 6 years older than Alicia.

did the Author decide to buy the equivalent strategic supply of 5 minutes of Russian Military Vodka and decide to swim in it? That is a fucking hell of a Plot Derailment. I get Duke has no appeal but then so does literally no one else. Alicia is barely a teenager and surrounded by 18yo adults, while also having their maturities essentially reversed.

Jesus Christ, I hope this is a case where the adaptation takes creative liberty

Honestly if that is how it's going to go with this arc, I'm just done with this series. Like I found the whole villianess stuff interesting and charming for like 2 chapters and then it just felt grating, like naruto saying he will be hokage, a mantra for mantra sake cause it sounds cool with little to no real action. Then we had the time skip and all this stuff that was layer out in prior chapters come to actually mean something and have stuff happen which was cool. Like the MC was even acting like a villianess but this next arc just feels like the author is aware that the story should be ending in like 20 or so chapters but wants to bloat the rest of the story cause "reasons". The plot isn't too complicated and doesn't need to be long for this series, it was wrapping up a whole bunch of plot points and ironing out relationships but this feels like extra padding to have a longer than needed series.

...well that's horrible. Thanks nonetheless, I know to not expect much else from this now.
