on one hand, I think the lengths he's going to convince himself that she doesn't have any feelings for him are starting to feel wayyyy too stupid. But on the other hand her running out as soon as the towel drops does kinda make it seem like shes messing with him

There's a helluva gap between "pushing her down" and "doing mental gymnastics to deny the obvious meaning of deliberately walking in on him naked and initiating skin-to-skin contact herself". The latter could only be more "confirmation of her intentions" if she went straight to "let's start with the front".

Let's not forget all the times she messed with him while they were in class during a cam chat where everyone can see each other in their own living spaces, with nobody knowing the two of them are living together.

This girl trying to get a rise/playing flirty with her crush with her shenanigans that could put both of them into serious trouble, I honestly don't blame the MC for thinking she's pranking him, right up to that last bit at the bath. That just proves she has no sense of space, common sense, and sense of danger for long-term consequences, but considering her secluded/sheltered/rich lifestyle up to now, it kind of adds up. I'm kind of surprised her lack of intelligence with technology wasn't a true character of hers, because that would have fitted so well if she wasn't trying so hard to fake it at this point.

And who would pack away the entire console and its accessories in the packaging box?! Why wouldn't she leave it in to be used for later?!

Yeah exactly, I can understand some peoples frustration with him not catching on at all but I still think it's totally understandable why he thinks she's pranking him/why he's so hesitant

That's the point though. They just had a conversation about wanting to get to know each other better and then she jumps the gun by joining him in the bath.
