"lidt" is the equivalent word for "lite" in both Danish and Norwegian. "Det var så lite" is a complete and correct phrase, but it doesn't fit the context where she used it. You say it in response to someone thanking you for a favor and (as you probably know) literally means "It was so little" (i. e., no need to thank me, what I did was nothing). Perhaps the author thought it could be used like "what I just did was easy-peasy", but it cannot.I agree. It sounded more danish with "lidt". But I think the phrase "Det var så lite" still sounds complete though imo?
