I'm always amused how authors create ways to backtrack "confessions" to extend the "will they, won't they" status quo.

This seemed pretty much the norm for romcoms but it just kills any hype that I had with the last few chapters and now I know nothing will happen in the next 10-15, so any excitement for the story just went down the drain.

Mangadex readers love to hate on side characters in rom-coms, but Hayama is the best character in this manga. Most porn is just a one-shot format. Made to just paint the context to spice the jerk-off. When the porn is serialized, then just having sex scenes is not enough, otherwise the customers will just consume other one-shots.

A good story can make a sex scene more engaging and spicier.
