@pokefairy the absolute failure to show any sort of motivation behind these bullies is astounding.

I actually would have respected this manga more if it WAS the original 6 people he thought he had to save who were the ones he needed to save, and at least explain the motivation behind their bullying and try to redeem them somewhat. So far 8 chapters in and they are all just mindlessly evil unbelievable characters.

@HOOfan_1 some people are just that ugly inside, no reason for it. And honestly even if they had a reason, that's no excuse for their behavior.

@wilddeath It's amazing that so many of them happen to be concentrated in this school though. I think over the top bullying just happens to be an anime-manga trope.

The main guy seems to be just a complete prick, but the story hinted that the girl may have had some motivation, but it was never explained.

The story is obviously focused on bullying, and toward the end, it was focused on the fact that revenge by bullying the bully is not okay, yet in trying to help the readers find sympathy for the girl, the story completely overlooked why she had changed, or why she was a bully in the first place. I just found it to be poor story telling.

Having that shinigami or whatever the fuck she is, commenting on everything thats happening is annoying af. Like, you think I actually care about what she's saying? And it's not even like she's trying to help the main character, because everything she does is basically harrassing him :/

That fucking shinigami is the most hateable character in any piece of fiction. Like what the fuck is her end goal? Is she doing this just to torture that guy? Even fucking Kyubey have a reason for sacrificing the girls in Madoka Magica
