ah yess, another RAGEBAIT NTR :haa: I don’t know… on one hand i feel bad for MC since he got tricked by his ex-wife and basically got set up (BITCH WIFE). But at the same time it kinda annoys me that he just does nothing and stays depressed. like bro, with his age and physical condition he should be able to think clearly and realize he’s not actually at fault  well, at least in the future he’ll end up with a high school girl who’s still a virgin and pretty, too.

thank you for translating
The guy is depressed, i think he actully loved his wife, you are not a normal person if you can get over so
mething like this just like that.
Cheap misogyny bait ahh manga... Why is Japan like this?
Edit: Since people are asking, this is misogyny bait because the DV plot point was completely unnecessary. The author could have easily made the reason for the divorce literally anything else; losing the house or having to leave wasn't dependent on MC beating his wife (myriad of other reasons could have been used). There is no reason why DV should even get a mention in a 'doing renovations with an adult gyaru fantasy' manga.
Only took 4 more comments for someone to mention beating their wife/girlfriend, if they theoretically played them. Like, how can you guys not see this?
Holy shit, look at this retarded idiot... women are beings of light, the author cant use the wife later on for drama... what a limited mind. That is why you are not a author, because your stories would be boring as fuck.

You are a retarded woman or a guy that never had a real relationship, shut the fuck up.

I would comment how recless karen is, this guy used to be Nice but now he is a stranger... who the fuck knows, i would like to have more of that, she thinking if it really ok to have him at her house.

Go touch some grass with this misoginy BS, YOU ARE CREATING what you want to fight against

i put them at about a 6 year age gap, with him being around 30 and her being 24

yeah, i guess the demographic being seinen makes that more of a possibility (shounens usually go straight for the revenge). i at least anticipate that MC's image and self-image will be healed and people in his workplace will come to know that he's not a scary guy.
Where do you get the age-gap thing? They're childhood friends that went to kindergarten together(I'm guessing they meant elementary school because neither looke 3-5yr old in the flashback).
I Also doubt that he'd go hang out with a random lower class student. They were probably classmates.

While it doesn't explicitly say they were classmates, I still think they're the same age because he was just depicted as freakishly tall for his age and massive as an an adult. So her being smaller in the flashback doesn't mean she's younger.

I think it is supposed to be hinoki (Japanese cypress) blanks, not plywood. They get used a lot for wet areas In homes like bathrooms, tubs, and saunas in Japan. It is highly water, mold, and bug resistant. It's also often used for temples. Not sure why on that one.
Just want to point out that all saunas are either made completely out of wood(stand alone structure) or have wood panelling on the walls and ceilings when built in a house. It's not just a Japan thing. If they aren't, they aren't saunas, they're just a hot room.
With what authority am I saying this? I'm Finnish, we invented it, we decide how it's made.

based on vibes, just like every other post i've made on this site.

on page 1 though, he looks to be about 13-15, while she looks maybe 8-10.

on page 6, he looks around 10-12 and she looks to be 7-9.

on page 27, he looks around 11-13 and she looks around 9-11

on page 47, he's maybe 14-16 and she's 10-13

so idk, it seems to me like there's a 3-6 year age gap between them

You're forgetting to account for
1. He's a male
2. He's clearly a large male at that
I can't tell you how tall he is exactly, but if I assume he's 6'1 like me, that means the girl is pretty short. Basing it off the panel in page 32, if he's 6'1, she would be around 5' flat or possibly even like 4'10, since the top of her head roughly lines up to where my moms head lines up for me and she's 5 foot tall. This is extremely short, even for a Japanese woman, and if she's this short as an adult, it's extremely likely she was always short for her age.

It is asinine to call this misogyny. There are cases where false accusations happen. The author just to decided to have that event happen here, because he needed a way to get MC divorced and also alienated by circumstances, so that he could find hope with his childhood friend again. That's the premise of the narrative - to have a fateful encounter with someone dear from the past to turn things around. End of story. |

The author doesn't have to be held hostage to your feeble sensibilities, whereby you think you exist in a world where people do not fabricate charges against others. It does not even need to be a majority/likely outcome, even if rare, these events do happen and there is nothing wrong with basing a story off of that.

There are people who will claim that Isayama was pushing fascist ideologies/genocide with his work on AoT, because of the nature of the narrative. If he let himself be stopped by the likes of crazies and sanitized his own work due to it, it wouldn't have ended up the masterpiece that it is. I see no reason for why authors need to somehow feel some kind of social obligation to only invoke certain elements in their story, lest they end up riling up crazies that everyone is going to socially shame and condemn anyway. A certain event happening in an author's story is by no means an endorsement of that idea as somehow being good.

I seriously don't understand how you think you have a leg to stand on with that horrible reasoning.
