I love this story, Rufus is such a brat it's amazing. I get a sort of Artemis Fowl kind of vibe from him, jerk with a heart of gold deal. I hope his parents are actually good nobles like he's hyping them up to be, but considering they left him to be raised by the household servants and don't even live under the same roof I'm not holding out hope.
