I feel like she got gaslit by the butler into being the main heroine.
Let me explain; Yes, Foll is a woman.. And yes, Foll is Faratania, the same pirate woman who killed him in a past life. She also acts as the main heroine of the story.
MC is pretty dismissive of females because of his personality and duties as a nobleman, but because of the butler's excessive meddling (I am not exaggerating, he gets really annoying a lot of times and oversteps his boundaries as a servant), the butler gave Faratania "false hope" of becoming the MC's wife, and kinda feels like MC also gets gaslit into falling in love with Faratania. I said it was a "false hope" because there literally was no way Faratania could have done it on her own. The butler literally overstepped, funded, and directed her actions so that she could be a consort to MC.
It was not a good feeling when I was reading it. I was like "damn butler, just stfu and let them feel their own feelings instead of trying to shove it up their mouths". Really left a bad taste in my mouth whenever I saw the butler doing that bullshit.
