I was half expecting a reveal that she knew and was making him fall for her again only to do what he was planning
Lotsa crazy guys it seems too like triplegk complete failure of an analysis.yo look at all these dexforumers acting like they're some psychology analysers and emotion experts. There are all kinds in this world, truly, like in this story, and like most commentors here who are so brain-numb and self-conceited. truly a @nclsdv moment
That is the perfect take of the story and both were not terrible, they were learning both their first love and they loved each other and didn't date anybody in between so it confirms this and I am so glad it had a happy and wholesome endingIt's because both of them were awful people.
The main character had no self esteem so he constantly fished his girlfriend for compliments. The low self esteem also lead to upon seeing her with another guy, he concluded she was cheating. He may have also been stalking her, to be able to "coincidently" just catch her with a guy like that. He has a nasty personality too: with how he just burst in and accused her and his present actions of harboring a grudge for years and creating an intricate revenge plan.
Also pointed out is the girl had a big head since she was pretty and treated the guy horribly. She riddiculed his hobbies never told him she loved him. Although, the reason she "lied" about cheating is because she was upset that he accused her, which made her fall out of love with him on the spot.
Honestly they were both terrible, so ironically, they're perfect for eachother.
Totally get you bro, I mean he could have confronted her better but she was just way worse by expecting him to fawn over her constantly being afraid of losing her but I mean both were in middle school and they got back together and that is what I am really happy aboutWell you see her leaving an hotel and she is with another man, that's the first option everyone would think of. He could have a better personality for sure, but that incident is not on him 100%; saying "you should believe me regardless" nope, that's how most cheaters get by, so you have to properly explain certain things
In all fairness lad having low self esteem does not make you a bad person, and having a gf that never says she likes you, looks down on your hobbies and just in general has a big head probably doesn't help at all. It sounds like he probably wouldn't have been so anxious and insecure about himself and their relationship if she'd just opened up and been much kinder. Was he a loser that shouldn't have placed all that emotional dependency on his middle school gf? Yeah. But, that doesn't make him a bad guy. He was just another shy kid too. It's because both of them were awful people.

She was 13-14... basically, she was an immature child that was just angry at being accused...That was a wild story, but I still don't understand why she admitted to cheating when she didn't 😕
Yes, there is an issue if you are skeptical all the time... but seeing your girlfriend leave a hotel with another man is a complete different topic....If your immediate conclusion is "they're cheating 100%" to seeing your husband/wife/bf/gf that's low self esteem talking. How do you expect to be married for life if you are skeptical of your partner every time they interact with the opposite sex. The normal person (or at least me) would be suspicious at BEST if they saw them outside a hotel (it's not as incriminating as outside their house, or a love hotel). Then they would try to figure out who the other person is. You see common tropes like "Girl is cheating, but it turns out it's their relative" too damn often after all.
Also, see it from the girl's angle. Her boyfriend out of the blue accuses her of cheating. She denies it and he shows "proof" (basically a creepy stalker photo with her dad). At that moment she was just done with him since he didn't seem to have a notion of trust in her, so she didn't deny him.
Although I'm not defending her fully: If I was treated like the way he was, I would probably assume she's cheating too.
