I mean... I get that nobody in this has any real character depth, but at this point you'd have to wonder - what is their end game? How does any one of them look at what they're doing and think 'yup, this is gonna end with me happy'.

i wonder how much a nice bouquet in JP are, given that there are 60 dollar melons. I mean , i don't expect anyone to get a bouquet for their partner every day versus maybe once a week but i imagine other than growing it yourself, ppl would be charged for the wrapping and floral arrangement (my school actually did have a floral design class buti t was more of a blow off course/i doubt anyone taking it actually became florists but yeah)

I think sumire cares more about 'revenge' at this point than being 'happy' b/c before she met kippei and fell in love she was used to being an outcast/miserable

other than karin stealing him away, she should've known better b/c i don't think she would've expected Sumire/Aoi to be the type to want luxury goods even if she bought it herself versus a gift from a man (inb4 they show up to a hangout/get together with the exact same bag, or at least the same brand but a nicer/more expensive one from their store)

even if it doesn't prove anything, it's concerning that someone would be spying on her to the point that they'd take a pic versus him presenting himself as a 'concerned friend'

i wouldn't be surprised if there was a josei toxic yuri ver of this kinda story with a similar premise. tho given her inferiority complex, i wonder if she's taken down any other 'plain' girls even if not as 'ugly' as the mc

Clearly Karin is a materialistic bitch, so she wouldn't even care if Aoi came up and said "I stole your husband", she would just go to the next man who suits her desires.
