This seriously needs to escalate if it's going to be juicy enough to keep up with - the melodrama is there, but so far the 'fury of a woman scorned' has lead to nothing more than the target a) not getting flowers for 1 day out of 365, and b) having to endure having the Spring model of a luxury handbag in the Summer. i know there's more of a social culture but it just feels awkward to have a coworker join your family home for a bbq versus some kinda 'office picnic/bbq event' at a public park/place

well we don't really know karin's family life but given the age diff, Bartender-kun would be middle aged compared to her if she's in her 20s now and he was a teen when the affair happened
