Honestly I don't see how Sumire "changed" her attitude or personality. Sumire's leverage in her relationship with Karin is that she's considered on equal standing and isn't trying to get in Karin's way. Sumire's always been doing her own thing in Karin's eyes, and from her perspective it's Mirai who always gives Sumire a bit more attention compared to Karin. So I don't think there's any observeable change in Sumire in Karin's POV
