(not sure which forum to post in, this seems closest-to-correct)
TL;DR: What constitutes a loli/shota tag on mangadex?
I just removed a shouta tag from https://mangadex.org/title/18642/tensei-shichattayo-iya-gomen/comments/ where it seemed hideously mis-aimed
, but that's based solely on my personal understanding (from years of being a weeb) of what "loli" and "shouta" signify (particularly, when used as tags), and an offical(-ish?) clarification would be nice.
If we were following the mangaupdates conventions for shoutacon and lolicon, it would have been "Representing a sexual attraction to young or under-age [boys/girls]" as per their definitions, and IIRC usually those tags only get used on "adult" works, but the tags are just "loli"and "shouta".
Surely, the intention is not just to tag everything that prominently features a "loli" or "shouta" character (which are pretty nebulously-defined, even if recognizable 90% of the time, in contrast with just child/childish characters), as loli or shouta...?
So yeah. Clarification requested, in case I'm on the wrong tack here.

(as far as I've read, the manga is absurdly vanilla and to my recollection has had neither romantic nor suggestive/fanservicey elements to speak of; and if any future content merits the tag then there are some other tags that would seem to be missing)
