Resident Evil 9 impressions

What do you guys think so far, from the trailers? For me, I don't mind an untrained protagonist in a Resident Evil game. From the trailer, it looks like you can play it in 3rd person which I'm the most happy about. I could not play 7 because it just seemed like a tech demo for VR with its 1st person viewpoint. 8 had it too, and it looked like there was a lot of action so I didn't even try it. 9, has a 2 remake feel to the gameplay which was the right choice. And, we don't talk about 3 remake in this house. They butchered the original, and god, what did they do to Jill?

I am really wary of game trailers since DOOM : The Dark Age, so i didn't watch any trailer of RE9.

And since i didn't play neither RE7 nor RE8, I'm waiting for a RE/ Code Veronica remake.

Looks like it is going to be a full horror game, even more than 7 and 8.
So I'm not sure.
I am pussy when it comes to playing horror games.

It was supposed to be kind of the same with DOOM : The Dark Age, and we didn't have it.

I really hope not. There is a rumor that Leon is going to be playable too, which would probably involve more action. A little wary of that, but hopefully it only makes up a small chunk of the game and isn't too cartoonish.

I'd like to think they learned their lesson with Resident Evil 6....... but this is the same company that put Enigma on a bunch of their older titles and pissed off a bunch of people.
