This is honestly one of my favourite things to read.

Even though the guy is obviously a petty thief... you kinda have to feel a little bad for him. He finally got what looks like a stable income for a, at least, a little while... then he gets bombshell after bombshell thrown at him on the first day, all of which increases the chances of him getting screwed/killed in a violent manner.
