There is so so SO damn much to digest here, the story just accelerated so much. I would've liked another story before we leapt into a timeskip but that's just my opinion.
Clearly this is leading up to some pretty tragic stuff.
Tifa's happiness is implied to only be temporary, her new Brother being closer to a Demon than a Human (foreshadowing which side he'll eventually choose in the upcoming war).
Now I can't say for sure that the Dad or Mom will get killed, buuuuuuut the Death Flags seem at an all time high. I don't believe that Saly will die, perhaps imprisoned instead. So I'd lean on the side of the Dad being in the greatest danger for legitimately dying this time (or wounded to the point that he is unable to help).
Which will ultimately separate the Family one way or another.
Shok seems to imply that Tanya is dead, perhaps the girl with him is their child. Obviously this could be a misdirect but I can't see any other reason why Shok would be doing anything that he's done.
This will inevitably lead to the Angels' suspecting Tifa/Family and causing a fight between them. Which will lead to what I mentioned above.
So yeah, I'm looking forward to Season 2 - If this is true it's about to get intense.
I will say though that I did... enjoy the series as being lighthearted adventures about these old former heroes. I guess it's moving on to bigger and bolder things, but I'll certainly miss the initial premise.
