Actually Coriasis, I didn’t even know you made a post like that. I was just genuinely curious about the reason as to why they’re chapters are so spaced out, and after looking at what Shii said (that this is one of the more popular series they’re translating), how come this series isn’t a higher priority. That’s still a valid and good question, seeing as how popular this series is and how slow the releases have been up till now.
And according to what Blue82 said, it’s not really their fault (although it doesn’t seem too difficult to post chapters to mangadex, but that’s just my two cents). And I don’t think anyone here is really trying to complain to you about your releases, in fact it seems that most people (myself included) are just trying to find out why these chapters are released once a month. I don’t think anyone here really believes that they can just boss you around, and I know scanlating takes a lot of time and money. And I know from experience that it can take upwards of a month to get through all the hoops of translating. But that doesn’t mean that we still don’t wonder why it takes so long to translate this series. It sounds like you, Blue82, have a lot on your plate irl so that would make sense as to why it takes so long, but I have another question for you: are you dividing the work well? Are you effienctly translating and what not? If you are, then great and there’s not much else to do other than wait a month or so for your group’s translations. But if it’s not as efficient as it could be, then that might be something to look into and consider.

@Danthefan It was on my blog where I said that, not here.
You can get a pretty good explanation for the difference in speed from the numbers alone. Nekyou's doing 5 series concurrently while we're just doing this one. We also have a lot of free time.

This is the ideal scan situation. You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like ?

Man, I hate it when people start accusing groups of intentionally delaying chapters without evidence, its like no one ever thinks that they might be busy cause they have lives. Its FREE WORK that they are sharing and at a higher quality than the other one, be grateful and accept some lateness because again, they are doing it FOR FREE. I say that @Blue82 does better quality releases but thats not to say that I dont appreciate your releases as well @Coriasis for their quickness. Thank you both for your work.

Ah, then that would make sense as to why I hadn’t seen that. And it does make sense that it would take longer for a smallish group to release 5 different chapters of 5 different series. So even if this is their most popular series, because their translator is still working on their other series, then the translation slows down (I say translator, but honestly if any position in scanlation slows down the whole group slows down). Here’s a question for you, are you still going to translate this series?

The thing is, I don't know why Nekyou is making such a big deal about this series getting sniped. No one besides the original author owns this series, and if chapters are coming out so slowly, no matter the reason, no one should be surprised that someone decided to do a faster job. Besides, the faster scanlation wasn't even that bad. This version is by no means a massive improvement.

Not like the other translation was bad, most people didn't even notice so acting smug only makes the scanlators look like morons here. If you take months to just release 1 chapter don't be surprised if another group does it much quicker with only a slightly lower translation/typesetting quality. There's no such thing as a monopoly of a series.

@Coriasis well sir thank you for your honesty and hard work I will keep reading yours if it keeps coming out as honestly waiting 24 months to get to the last raw available which is the chapter 33 sounds kind of painful.
to nekyou group I understand your argument that you want to provide quality but episode per month is kind of hard for the readers I mean don't take me wrong but there is 33 episodes in the raws at a month per you will caught up in 24 months to the ones release up to this day but in 24 moths will be even more raws then 33. I think that if goat&cat can deliver then in less time why not let them and you can public yours at your own pace but to be frank I really don't see much different apart of some semantics in the dialog ( a more correct maybe more accurate translation ) and that they leave the commercials from the raws at the end ether way the real meaning is going across in both translations and for us readers looking at the present situation it feels more like a hostage situation, if another group capable to deliver at a faster fashion with no to far quality can do the job and you try to monopolize in a series that you are currently to heavy schedule to handle in a shorter date you have no right to obstruct the other group that can help to provide the service to the fans after all this are works for fun from fans to fans no profits intended correct? then there should not be any hostility to have 2 version of it correct? by numbers nekyou will get the series translated in years at least 2 years to get to the up to this date raws if you can't give it faster because of quality at least don't stop goat&cat from doing it calling then snips after you take so long to post yours it isn't fair they did it to help the fans the same fans nekyou is suppose to be helping as well.
ones again this a work "for fun from fans to fans" correct?
no more group wars or disputes I don't think in this case nether group should accuse or condemn one or the other and both should continue under there own circumstances.

so the ex-knight dude drop out from order of the knight because he think killing demon children is wrong because children are innocent, but when he meet with adult demon, they are automatically evil...? what? what a flimsy reasoning...

Actually, he says "I thought... that we eliminated demons to uphold goodness and justice. But... their eyes were full of madness and hate." So it wasn't that killing demon children is wrong, but that he realized the order he had joined had no interest in the ideals he thought they upheld.
