The beginning chapters Abel tries to justify it, but eventually he states that it's outright, "Abnormal".

We'll likely get to the point where Abel and friends find out the conspiracy, leading to a massive "WHAT A TWIST!"

Which sounds like a copy pasted version of another manga I read. With a powerful main character who forcefully reincarnates himself into the future. Only to find out that someone has seemingly sabotaged the magical knowledge and capability of the whole human race...who turn out to be demons *gasp*.

The one where they were making a game out of genocide and destroying an entire city? When you have a group as callous and evil as those demons, when they beg for their life; They are expecting you to show them mercy, all so they can stab you and get the upper hand.

Think it's good that she's not taking the peace as a given and that another war won't break out at some point. Even with peace need eternal vigilance as leaders change for better or worse. Take Germany for example. Hitler was unreasonably prejudiced against Jews, non-whites, had untreated syphilis, and yet was charismatic enough to get the country to make him leader and follow him into conquering other countries and make his prejudices their own until defeated. Even stranger was being able to do all this with terrible logistics that makes many wonder how anything got done or supplies arriving where needed and such.
Although as a student she seems to be pushing too hard and getting her priorities mixed up. Instead of being the strongest in the class she should aim to be the strongest she can herself can be. If were to liken the class to a bunch of puppies than being the strongest pup is limiting herself when have potential to be a strong adult fenrir. Bet she's the descendant of one of the female members of his former hero party hence his comment.

@demathraxyus it all comes down to shitty writing. that author chose to make his demons like people, and chose to write a scenario where even when demons are begging for their lives or haven't done anything, the mc overpowered asshole who can do no wrong is still totally justified chopping them up into tiny bits

@Porg Shitty writing? Porg, monsters don't always look monstrous. These Demons, no matter how human they look, are monsters. Evil in every sense of the word. You as a human would be so beneath them, they take actual joy out of you begging for your life. They'd make a game of it. They'd torture you just to see you beg for your life more. And once they grew bored, they'd kill you. Thats to assume they even took the time out of their day to have some fun with you. They were about to go on a complete rampant slaughter of every living thing. And you are here, literally defending them. You are defending genocide against the entire human city on the grounds that the demons look like people.
