@Silwith all of what mc knew was that he was spying in him and send assassins and read again 25.1 page 10, you think that he deserves the second chance because you know the whole context (and even then is absurd knowing the dude is doubling down in the end and his motives are dumb af)we all know that he will be doing something worse in the future so no reason to spare him, also that world mindset is set in a middle ages like era when anyone with some authority can get away with murder and in the end you are downplaying his actions but in the end he send freaking assassins for no good reason with him thinking he didnt have a chance (again read 25.1 page 10).

@zeroxjac Still not convinced, nope... as said, first i would think the manga showed it wrong, since it doesnt make sense that he send them to kill him and if he only send them to test him and Abel knew he observed him for some time, then it makes way more sense to warn him first. Plus: You are especially forgetting the reason WHY Abel is there in the first place, because he hated to be feared by anyone just because of his strength, it wouldnt fit his character to now kill him as the first option, then he just could stayed and be feared for his power, but he didnt want that. Using his powers now, killing everyone that gets in his way in some way wouldnt make sense, it fits his character way more to give people a second chance before killing them. Considering his reasons for reincarnation ect it does make more sense to warn him sternly and only kill him should something happen again.

Althougt normally I do not agree with the mentality of most naive MCs that let their annoying enemies live for no real reason other than simply don't kill them, in this case I can get somewhat around this. The reason is pretty simple: MC doesn't consider, in the least, that teacher as an enemy, even more for me he just think of him as no more than a annoying bug that he could kill at any time no matter what he could try to pull of, and even if he tried to do something against his "loved ones", Lilith still is her more trusted ally and someone who that teacher could do nothing against either, and could also help MC keep him at bay.

TL;DR: MC doesn't actually consider that teacher an enemy, just a pretty annoying bug.

@Silwith at this point is just you not convinced of what you saw so nothing to do here, also if abel want a peaceful life he must remove the threats to that peaceful life, he doesnt need to kill everyone who gets in his way like you said but those who are a danger to those around him like someone randomly sending assassins for him.
