Actually, Ted was right. he said 10% of the current students, which would imply 10% of 200 = 20 students.
not 10% of students each year, which would imply 10% of 200, 10% 0f 180... etc

so fuck you, Ted was correct.

or the phrasing is off.

that is, 20 students.

over 5 years. 5x20 = 100.

if you take 10% of the students each year, you get 118. if you take 10% of current students, you'd get 100. that's my whole point.

@quagzlor Unfortunately I think the clarity of the translation is just misleading you. The proper implication is 10% of each subsequent grade which will come out to about 118 as you said, which is "about 60% graduate" as he's corrected on.
