I have absolutely no understanding how this garbage series is still alive. Well, garbage is a bit too strong a word. B O R I N G is more descriptive. Abel is literally the epitome of watching paint dry on a sheet of dry cardboard; you get both aspects of some of the most bland, boring things that exist. This series would actually be good if Abel wasn't so god damned one-dimensional. There's creating an MC that can be a self-insert for the reader, and then there's Abel. This would be tolerable if Abel actually fucking emoted. He's not even stoic; he's just straight up blank-faced, naive, and emotionless (things that actual stoic people are not). I don't even mind his overpowered nature, but it does get annoying after a while (to think I'd actually say this attests to just how terrible Abel truly is as a character).

People who rate this any higher than a 6 or 7 really have an extremely low bar for what's entertaining. And people who rate this a 10 need to go touch grass for a while and reflect on their poor life choices to be in such a state of mind to rate this series so highly.

I hate-read this and it is infuriating. What a garbage series. Any reader should feel personally insulted by the author for thinking this junk is what anyone ever wanted to read. Also wtf with him as a small boy banging his maid/teacher? This is really disgusting.

I don't like the extra chapter with Lilith heavily implies she had several or many lovers in the past, my head canon in every story is them waiting patiently for MC 😂

Ok pretty medicore manga (don't get why so much hate tho) Things I found weird:
1. Gracious lewd shot of FEMC (which name I forgot after like 10 minutes after reading last chap lmao) at beginning which followed by MC actually taking action and then for almost whole manga there was none of lewd themes at all. Even beach episode was like 1 panel and then story went totally different way.....
2. ah yeah story - rushed like hell. Even when I like story which doesn't overstay this title should easily could use + 20 more chapters. Even confessions by two other girls were like "sorry i dun have time for u bye"
really want to give it 5/10 by art alone but guess art isn't everything

TLDR
I wouldn't rate it higher than 6/10. If anything, the whole story would need adjustments and expansion to flesh everything out. Supporting characters would need to be deeper and more relevant to the plot and MC, and the setting would need to pick a clear artistic direction rather than the cheap hybrid modern/fantasy mismash.


It was the epitome of "fine".

I've read much worse. This was a 6/10.

Had a touch of lewd every now and then, but didn't really add or take away from the story.

Able was a bit too stiff of a character. It's unfair to say the character himself is emotionless, however his portrayal was certainly emotionless most of the time. That's not to say he didn't have development, but I think the author was just unable to properly convey the growth he wanted to show in a meaningful way.

Unfortunately the author fell flat in terms of really fleshing out his supporting characters as well, and didn't do much better with developing the setting. The fantasy vs modern vibes really didn't do any favors for the story either, and constantly clashed with the feel of it overall.

Still, I could appreciate the demon conspiracy, up until Cain got directly involved, and everything felt too easily resolved. For a bit of the story it felt like the author might really flesh out the dark actors behind the scenes aspect, but both kronos and the demon faction ended up coming off as really shallow.

I can also appreciate that Abel wasn't some pathetic pushover, or overly naive moral busybody who had same asinine/pedantic sense of justice, or eternal virgin energy. I think the intent behind Abel was likely to convey a "learning to live again" and cope with past trauma type of development.

All of that said, I don't hate it. It's better than a lot of slop I've read. The style direction may have clashed, but it wasn't ugly. The characters were simplistic, but (most) weren't unbearable.
