I was also thinking along the same lines of it possibly just being a line to calm the saintess down, but my initial guess was that Camille's missing younger sister probably survived and got wrapped up in shit (we've seen what the 'barbarians' are really like, eating people didn't seem to be one of the things they actually did, unlike talking mad shit to scare their opponents, which they did a lot of). My second guess was that the saintess' presence would allow some sort of divine asspull to save her, but that seems less likely to me since the author has improved plenty since the "gave a child money to solve crime" joke of a chapter. Guess we'll see...

Well barbarians didnt look that bad but we dont know about that tribe clearly. But if im not wrong they didnt do anything to his older sister and her daughter (i may confusing tribes). So yeah its either her camyu's sisters face or some demonass magic. Yeah we will see.

At page 90 when Bischer was at the place where he met Peri there was a picture of peri's name on a cross and a grave stone and Bischer said "Im glad I met you" And Im pretty sure camyus alive so don't worry about her but Peri is no longer.........😔😔
