If you're going to use MTL, please, for the love of God, at least use ChatGPT or Gemini. Google Translate is not a substitute for a translator and with Japanese especially it's very inaccurate and can completely butcher the original text.

Both Gemini and ChatGPT are free to use, and I would suggest the former specifically if you absolutely need to use MTL. You can also use Mokuro to OCR the pages, making you able to copy and paste the text directly from the manga to somewhere else.

Rest assured, I do use ChatGPT however don't credit it because I'm not sure as to whether or not people would accept the use of AI to help translate manga. But assuming that you and even some other people have been asking me to use ChatGPT or even Gemini, going forward I will put ChatGPT in the credits.

Better yet, there's already an existing translation that doesn't use MTL here and here. Why not just use the already translated scripts instead of an objectively worse translation?

Someone had sent me a link to this but to the 4chan thread previously, I was confused so I decided not to use it but I'll replace the current one with that script if I can get some answers.
1. Who is the actual translator? (asking so I can credit them and work more closely with them)
2. If the translator is anonymous, how would I actually credit them? (this is if I can't actually talk to the translator 1 on 1)
3. If can't talk to the translator 1 on 1, how can I get the script for the newer chapters in the future? (I am not familiar with communities such as that).
4. Are these scripts free to use?

1. They're an anonymous user on 4chan's /u/ (Yuri) board named Goggled Anon.
2. Just credit them as Goggled Anon.
3. The current translation thread will probably be used for a few more weeks. The scripts are posted there. You can upload your typeset chapters to a mega.nz folder, share them in the thread replying to the post with the translation beforehand, and wait for Goggled Anon to take a look at it before posting to MangaDex. This is the general workflow for typesetters who use Goggled's translations.
4. They're posted in the threads specifically for someone to use them to typeset.

Finally, I would recommend becoming familiar with Photoshop or Photopea so that you can effectively redraw/clean pages. It's really not hard to use the spot healing brush to clean up the JP text on backgrounds; for example, on page 22 the very obvious spots where the original text was, it's very easy to make it look like nothing was changed. If that's too much to learn, I would suggest looking for a redrawer.

I know I'm asking a lot but last question, is the current font fine to use if I use the script? And Thanks for all the help.
