Revoke the newly added 1.5 rule? [Rejected]

I understand the intention but I think its a bad addition alongside the latest mass DMCA. They're for sure trash scans but I think they're still a big part of MangaDex's meat. Now there's barely any updates here like a barren wasteland.

Honestly, I just don't really want to read in their websites because my anti virus pop up like a virus itself with their sussy ads. Id rather just wait until they throw some meat in here and read those instead of having to browse in their website. But I'll have to put my feet into their websites with that rule though. Losing too many things to read here.

Now that some time has passed, I'll leave a semi-official response to this.
This rule has worked well so far. Ultimately, the goal is to avoid any potential issues from hosting chapters with links to sites that monetise their translations without the publisher's approval. This is also a step towards ensuring that MangaDex can continue to exist for as long as possible.
For this reason, we can't/won't get rid of this rule.

The rule was discussed for a long time. The timing was just unfortunate.

Now that time has passed, it does seem fine. It was just that around the time, the updates felt dead for a bit. Seems to be more alive now or i just adapted to the new mangadex.
