A note on the note. -kun is used for someone who is at the same or lower "standing". So you'd use it for coworkers or classmates, or your juniors (male or female though predominantly male). There's a little bit more distance to it. However, here she is using it with his first name which is where the closer relationship is represented.

I think something I genuinely enjoy about this one is how effortlessly it moves through the cliche tropes, they're still enjoyable, but dealt with quickly enough they don't become stale or burdensome. The format helps a lot with tat, but it's still done well and makes for an adorable manga that moves at a decent clip.

This (including Ch.102) is the most emotional I've seen of Ri-chan's mama in a while since her divorce and Ri-chan's sudden image change. This normally stoic woman almost tearing up is making me tear up too. She may not be a perfect mother, but I find her endearing all the same.

I didn't fully realize until now, but like her daughter she's got her own brand of gap moe. That stoic and cool exterior is hiding a caring warmth (and a curious, cute taste in pajamas). Now that Riri is happy, I wanna see mama be happy too.
