Reading back through this for the 3rd or 4th time now... a few things I noticed. One of which was her father... throughout the whole series, everyone shows their eyes on their growth. Major moments are often displayed as such with their eyes being drawn (for those who's eyes are normally hidden anyway).

Her father?

We NEVER see his eyes.
