I feel so bad for Ruby that I can't wait for Okome to knock Bo-Sang's head into orbit.

I like the irony of Soo-ji thinking she couldn't have won without Bo-Sang, then turning to see... that Bo-Sang didn't stick around to see her win. Obviously Soo-Ji doesn't need Bo-Sang. She won on her own. And when Bo-Sang loses, Soo-Jii will be the last one standing.

Rats; I was hoping for such ironic dentistry comedy and tom-foolery. Then again, this does set-up the scene more strongly for the protagonist of this manga -- she'll win against the "evil" painted opponent and Ruby will come out of her hiding to show support for a realistically unknown stranger from another gym (but they're both Japanese, so, fight on!).
