I'll have to agree I'm not a big fan of the whole love triangle thing, especially since it seems kinda odd to add it this late into the story. I mean, Himuro has been built up as Yukimura's LI from day one, it's obviously gonna be her he chooses in the end (well, that or a poly-relationship, bleugh).

So I doubt it will go anywhere, especially with Himuro openly confronting her about it immediately, which is better than just letting the feelings stick in the back of her head or developing into a worse situation.

the triangle part is also kinda apt, given that Himuro and Kanade have plenty of chemistry going on. I'm more surprised the general fandom didn't take this move well.

I'm mostly thinking of the bit in the Oxytocin arc where Yukimura complains that hugging Kanade made Himuro happier than doing it with Yukimura.

I can't read Japanese but I've seen some raws from later chapters and it definitely becomes a harem based on what it looked like to me.

This turning into love triangle is certainly weird, at least for me. If Kanade being in love with Yukimura was hinted from earlier chapters then I can say the same about Kanade with Himuro too. If anything chemistry between Kanade and YukiHimu duo feels more like how older brother/older sister treat their younger sister. Yukimura definitely acts like an annoying brother.
With that being said, the whole previous kidnapping arc is weird. I don’t think a dramatic sexual harassment is needed to develop Kanade further as a character. Her internal conflict is her own to solve, and it’d be better to let her mature and learn to accept herself in a more natural development. Involving an forceful external event into solving her conflict is rather a lazy writing choice.
And making Shikijou’s friend group into criminals is kind of weird too, because they were literally comedy gag in beach arc.
