Okay so my theory is this: in past life FMC was either a doctor or med student, and she might have been in a relationship with MC's past life (whose name was mentioned in the early chapters) or a person who acts and looks like MC. Now I'm guessing past life version died or something happened to them. and as for FMC my guess she died around her 30s-40s (why she called herself old), also pretty valid guess that this world was an otome game in her past life where her current life was the villainess, now she probably transmigrated to this body when she was a child, which is why she still seemed fond of the dragon country, and probably thought she could change fate by being a nice person but that didn't happen, also the sorrowful look she had when MC held her, might mean in the game MC had also a destined partner which wasn't her, and she's afraid he'll abandon her like crown prince.
