I didn't know that this was initially going to be a short promo but I am grateful that this is getting a serialization because that ending wouldn't be well received by many. The most notable thing for me this chapter is that it seems their dad, of all people, is in on Kou's scheme. Would that mean the mom is the antagonist seeking to marry off her daughter for financial/political connections?

Also, I didn't realize this was just a limited serialization, and full serialization is still some ways off in September. This was honestly fairly generic, but I like the art and I don't despise the characters, so I'll come back for when the full serialization starts. Thanks for the translation!

I think that that would be a great depiction of him. A proper man should have the strength and power to apply force where necessary, but the wisdom to know where it's applicable. A "hard woman" is an oxymoron; at most, she can only be a potentially devastating glass cannon. A wise man would utilize soft force with such a wife (manipulation; ideally, this wouldn't be necessary at all, but...), and it seems--though this is just my speculation--that Kou is part of that stratagem. Wife is placated, Sara doesn't get married off to what the wife can't figure out is probably a wealthy degenerate, everyone is happy.

Bonus if Kou can be the second wife or concubine.
