Well, no problem in that case. I read this manga myself in real time and I don't know if it will ever become actual yuri, but I often see how subtext/bait acts as an aphrodisiac on shippers/antishippers, if you know what I mean, lmao.

I don't know how this theme will be developed further, but given the previous chapters and the premise of the manga, I think that the father's cheating would be more narratively significant than his death. All-female/girls power stories love to beat up shitty men, as expected.

I don't think it was ever mentioned that her Dad cheated just the stuff about her Mom remarrying, I even thought he was dead already.

IIRC the only thing was a flashback scene with Lilisa's mother looking sad while sitting at a low table with trash and empty bottles around the room, with current day Lilisa's narration mentioning that he abandoned them or something along those lines.

They didn't get into any specifics until now but the state of the room was hinting at scummy/abusive/deadbeat behavior.

The easiest way to test a headcanon is to simply imagine the arguments against it and see if the very thought of it makes you feel frustrated and upset.
